Gabrielle's 2020 EP, On My Way Back Home, marked her first solo release in many years. Her much anticipated full length album, Back to the Heart, will release on March 7, 2025. Gabrielle’s desert inspired songs are rooted in well crafted arrangements, finger picking, open tuning, harmony and ethereal vocals.

Blue Skies Trio features Ben DeGain on vibraphone, Thøger Lund on upright bass and Gabrielle Pietrangelo on vocals and baritone ukulele. They perform in the Tucson area for private parties and events, playing sentimental love songs from the 1930s & 40s.
Chaparral Kirtan Band

Chaparral Kirtan Band was a devotional music project directed by Gabrielle, featuring a changing group of musicians, blending call and response devotional practices with indie folk music. Gabrielle and the group hosted seasonal heart-opening Kirtan nights in the Tucson area for many years and traveled, performing throughout Arizona and New Mexico. Chaparral Kirtan Band’s self titled LP was released in 2021 and is available to stream on most platforms.
Sister Solace

Founded by Gabrielle in the fall of 2015, Sister Solace was one of Pietrangelo’s many harmony arrangement projects. The ensemble included 12 Tucson voices, featuring luscious vocal harmonies and retro stylings drawn from the American and Appalachian musical traditions. Sister Solace is disbanded while Gabrielle focuses on song-writing. Stay tuned for future info!
Silver Thread Trio
Founded in 2007, Silver Thread Trio featured Gabrielle Pietrangelo (banjo), Caroline Isaacs (washboard) and Laura Kepner-Adney (guitar). The trio contributed 3-part harmonies to many national and local acts including Howe Gelb, Calexico, Amos Lee and many others. In their seven year run the group released two albums including Silver Thread Trio (2009) & Trigger and Scythe (2012).
